Santa Cruz, the capital of rural Chile, is located only 110 miles from Santiago in the heart of the Colchagua Valley, which extends from mountains to sea, and is considered without doubt as one of the most important areas of fine wine production of the southern hemisphere.

Its inhabitants, proud exponents of Chile's typical farming culture, welcome you warmly to a land of small towns, beautiful farm houses, rivers, flowers, picturesque roadside fruit stands, mountains, hills, interesting visits to vineyards, and exquisite wine-tasting.

The Colchagua Valley has four well defined seasons: spring is free of frost, summer months are hot and dry during the day, with cool nights because of the Maritime influence. The big temperature differences between night and day are essential to produce quality fruit. The top soil is made up of a dark colored clay loam and the sub stratum of sandy deposits. Altogether a paradise of vines.
